Motor Temp Calculator

This calculator converts a thermistor resistance reading into a motor temperature using the Steinhart-Hart equation. Calibrate the coefficients with three known (resistance, temperature) points, then enter a measured resistance to read the corresponding temperature.

Step 1

Calibrate thermistor

In progress

Enter three empirical (resistance, temperature) readings from your thermistor's datasheet or bench test.

How are the coefficients calculated?

The coefficients are recovered by solving this system of equations from your three calibration points:

They depend on your thermistor model and the temperature range of interest.
