Ruggedized to Meet MIL-SPEC Requirements

Designed for harsh operational conditions, our ruggedized drives deliver reliable performance when failure is not an option:

  • Temperature extremes: -40°C to 70°C
  • Thermal shock: -40°C to 70°C in 1 minute
  • High humidity: 95% non-condensing 
at 60°C
  • Vibration: 5 Hz to 500 Hz, up to 3.85 grms
  • Shock: 40 g peak acceleration
  • Extreme altitudes: -400 m to 16,000 m

We also design and test all our systems to meet stringent military standards, including:

Advanced Features and Flexibility

To meet the evolving needs of the defense industry, our drives incorporate advanced features like 32-bit floating-point multi-loop filters, frequency analysis tools and high-speed position capture, enabling precise control and monitoring of motion systems. Drives — like our R-Series — also support multiple command interfaces, including CANopen, EtherCAT, RS-232/422, analog commands and step/direction signals for seamless integration into legacy and modern systems. For greater installation flexibility, our drives are available in high power density panel-mount and PCB mount packages, with a complete set of feedback options.

Software Support

We offer powerful, intuitive software tools designed to streamline the integration of 
our drives into complex systems and reduce development time. Our 
Copley Motion Explorer software provides comprehensive diagnostics 
and auto-tuning, plus distributed control software for CANopen 
with C++ libraries and .NET framework objects.
